About Us

UNT Office of Outreach

UNT Outreach coordinates initiatives and programs with local and regional school districts, community organizations, and local businesses, relating to college awareness, access, recruitment and retention. UNT Outreach coordinates educational outreach programs, the Multicultural Scholastic Award Program, campus visits, G-Force and Go Center campaigns and workshops that seek to identify students, as early as elementary school (grades 3-9) to provide motivation, encouragement, and information needed to matriculate successfully through high school to higher education. These programs help to create a college-going culture and seek to empower students through the realization that a college education is completely within the realm of possibility.

Over 55,000 Students Served

The Office of Outreach has impacted more than 55,000 students (and families) since 2008. We have witnessed an increasing demand from area school districts to provide prospective students with college information and materials. It is truly great to see so many young people learning about college planning, access and enrollment!

Programs and Initiatives

UNT Outreach coordinates pre-collegiate outreach programs including Outreach ExPOs (college readiness visits to UNT), the G-Force and Go Center Outreach Initiative, Multicultural Scholastic Award Program, Outreach ExPOs, Champions of Outreach, and college enrollment workshops.

Programs and initiatives target students in grades 3-9 and provide motivation, encouragement and information needed to matriculate successfully through high school and on to post-secondary education.
